Our society’s expectations are driven by success and wealth to be considered important. That creates personal tension for some people to be accepted among friends and the community they live in. People choose self-deception to differentiate themselves from others to be above.

They enjoy being superior, even if the apparent superiority is built on illusions. Looking in the mirror reveals the real person. Whatever you have achieved in life, consider there is always someone below and above you.
